Establishing the leading collagen brand in the French market
Firmalis will introduce Peptan’s range of collagen solutions to the French market including Peptan, a type I collagen peptide. Peptan is a bioactive ingredient with a unique amino acid composition which promotes multiple health benefits for healthy aging, joint and bone health. In addition, Peptan IIm, a hydrolyzed collagen type II matrix containing hydrolyzed collagen Type II in the form of bioactive peptides and GAGs, will be presented for the first time at a major French tradeshow. Peptan IIm is designed to provide further support to healthy joints by protecting cartilage and enabling cushioning and lubrification to reduce potential inflammation.
Unveiling a new study on Peptan benefits for sports recovery
Firmalis will present the findings of a new clinical, scientifically-backed study led by Rousselot, which shows that the supplementation of Peptan collagen peptides in a sports nutrition diet contributes to the repair of connective tissues after physical activity and helps prevent the risk of injury.[1] The study involved 24 active young men who either consumed a daily dose of 20g of Peptan versus a placebo, and performed a series of physical exercises to measure the effects of Peptan in supporting optimal recovery and improving overall sports performance.
Unlimited application potential with Peptan
Multiple collagen solutions applications will be presented through product samples at the booth to showcase both companies’ strong formulation expertise, including capsules, a daily drink shot, tablets and gummies, aimed at consumers from different age groups looking to sustain an active and healthy lifestyle. Visitors are also invited to try a tasty and high protein banana flavored powder drink specifically targeting sports recovery containing 10g per serving of Peptan.
Guests will be welcome to join Peptan and Firmalis experts on stand for advice on developing food products and supplements in line with the latest market trends.
