Tim de Lange

Tim joined Rousselot in 2019, after having worked for more than 10 years together with the bio-chemical & pharma industries as Engineering Manager and Category Manager. He started as Technical Support Manager at Rousselot and holds a degree in Bioscience Engineering from the University of Ghent, Belgium. In this role, he and his team were responsible for bringing technical solutions to all Rousselot pharmaceutical, food and nutrition customers within the Rousselot EMEA region. Since 2022, Tim has been responsible for the Global Applications Center of Rousselot located in Ghent with the aim to support Rousselot’s customers in the Biomedical field with our collagen inspired solutions.

What’s your mission at Rousselot Biomedical? What are you working on?

My mission at Rousselot, together with my Biomedical Application team is to understand the applications of the customers and explain them the functionality of Rousselot’s products in their collagen-based solutions. Currently, we are working on customer projects to help them tune our products to their specific requirements in the diverse Biomedical market such as sustained release, scaffolds, adhesives & sealants.

Which aspect of your work inspires you the most?

The potential impact that our products can have on improving patients life in the extended Biomedical field including cancer cell therapy, hemostats, embolization agents and many more.
