"Innovation, in the widest sense of the word, means to take a fresh view, to change perspective, to look at known elements in a different way, to connect dots that may seem unrelated. If we press the reset button and open our minds to unexpected and unusual thoughts, we can come across truly innovative ideas. In our context, this might relate to developing a new product or to using an existing product in new ways. It can also simply mean placing a known health effect into a new context."
"I believe that innovation goes far beyond problem-solving. It is about anticipating developments, trends and needs in ways that may help us to address future problems we are not even aware of today."
